We are a unique four star hotel in Sheffield. Our historic property offers a quirky place to meet and sleep, and it is situated centrally on Leopold Square amongst an array of upmarket bars and eateries. Each of the hotel’s 89 en-suite bedrooms is uniquely furnished, offering every modern amenity for the discerning visitor.

History

Originally a 19th-century grammar school, the stunning historical architecture fuses modern designs to create a unique setting.

The imposing building has been sympathetically restored to retain its charming architectural character. Our hotel reflects its past with the many images and photographs that have been kindly donated from past pupils. Touches of memorabilia are what keep the hotel alive with tales of schoolboy antics and life as it used to be. Visitors from all over the globe are encouraged to leave their comments in the ever-expanding Guest Book, along with the many famous celebrities who make the Leopold their favourite home-from-home.
