It's central to the city centre, shopping and restaurants, with a Costa Coffee across the road in Orchard Square. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are a good size and you can tell that the towels and bedding are of good quality. The staff are professional, courteous and very engaging. What I love most about this hotel is that it has a lone female guest programme. When you book directly with them, you let them know you're on your own and you're strategically placed in the hotel so you're never too far from the lift, plus you have the extra chain on the door and your room number isn't mentioned at reception when checking in. I also applaud their sustainability programme: if you don't mind foregoing your room being cleaned each night of your stay, you're given.
