My father has been in hospital in Sheffield for some weeks, and I received a call from my mother in Suffolk, very upset, saying he was very poorly following an operation and low in spirits (she had returned home). As I was in London working that day, it seemed easiest if I jumped on a train to see him, and I booked in overnight with yourselves.
I wanted to say how grateful I am to your welcoming staff at a very stressful time, and how kind they were to arrange to launder my father's pajamas overnight. It may seem a small and ridiculous thing, but it meant an enormous amount, firstly to him, and to me, in solving my laundry dilemma, before rushing back to work the next day, that you came to the rescue.
The visit seemed to come as a turning point, as over the last week, we've all managed to return every couple of days to see him, and I just heard from my mother that he's improved so quickly, he will be coming home tomorrow.
It's little things that mean the world, and I'm very grateful to your excellent staff.

We arrived at the hotel to a mulled wine reception at 5:30pm. The General Manager, George Arizmendi of the hotel gave a brief introduction of what would happen during the evening. It was optional to have a guide of the hotel, as some members already visited the hotel earlier on this year.
I have placed over 25 guests in this hotel over the past year. All of my visitors provided excellent feedback of their stay here. I was curious to see what the hotel and rooms looked like. I must admit that I was overwhelmed by the décor and design of the Leopold Hotel. Originally, a Grade II listed boy’s grammar school, evident from the many photographs situated on the walls through out the hotel. A fantastic reminder; of every day life within this beautiful building, which well deserves its listed status and membership to small luxury Hotels of the World.
Looking around the hotel you can see how and why this hotel has made its mark in Sheffield. You would never imagine that this was once a grammar school. The Architectural design throughout the building really does make you appreciate what an amazing place this is to stay.
No expense has been spared; in the design and feel of these 90 rooms, compete with all of these luxury little extras: Slippers, Bath Robe, Toiletries, and a laundry bag. Room amenities include:

Next we sampled the Leopold Festive Afternoon Tea menu:
Quartet of finger sandwiches, mince pies and Christmas cake, served with a choice of tea, coffee or mulled wine. We were treated to a wonderful class of Champagne as well.
I can describe everything about this hotel including the food as outstanding and I will definitely continue to recommend this hotel as the best place to stay in Sheffield.

Dear Sir,
Me and my sister stayed at the Leopold Hotel during the weekend of 4th April (twin room overlooking Leopold Square) and would like to thank the staff there for making our stay there as comfortable as it could possibly have been. The standard of the room was perfect – very clean, with great furnishings and facilities. But the most remarkable thing was the excellent care the staff took with ‘customer service’.
We were greeted very promptly at reception, given all information we required, shown to our room, asked if there was anything else we needed and given help with parking arrangements. The manner of the lady who greeted us was highly professional and she was clearly really adept at her role there. Additionally, the room service was excellent with a very high standard of breakfast – to manage to serve the pastries still warmed was really spot on! That little extra makes all the difference.
So please pass on our thanks to the staff, including reception staff and room service staff, as it really made a difference to have that high level of friendliness, professionalism and an overall excellent standard of service.

The entire event went without a hitch, the timings were stuck to, the food was delicious, and nothing was too much trouble. we celebrated our wedding with you on the 13th june 09 and we couldn't of asked for a better day.
we wanted the day to be as relaxed as possible and thats exactly what it was, things seemed to run without any problems.
weve had postive feedback from our guests about the hotel and the staff.
the only problem is that the day went too quickly and now we want to do it all again!!!
